This is a Trix 22033 German Federal Railroad (DB) Kittel design Steam Powered Rail Car. It was originally built in 1914 for the Grand Ducal Baden State Railways. Features include die-cast metal frame, NEM 21-pin digital connector, 5-pole motor with flywheel, 2 axles powered, traction tires, dual headlights which change over with the direction of travel, an NEM coupler pocket, and many separately applied details. There is a completely free view through the engineers cab and a representation of the boiler. The buffer beam details are included in a bag so that the front area can be prototypically equipped for display or operation. The length over the buffers is: 5-1/8. This model can be found in an AC version in the Mrklin H0 assortment under item no. 37253.
