This is a Marklin 29532 Digital Freight Train Steam Starter Set. Included is a German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 86 Tank Steam Locomotive and 5 Freight Cars: (1) boxcar, (1) stake car, (1) gondola, (1) tank car, and (1) baggage car. The track layout consists of: (14) no. 24130 curved track, (8) no. 24188 straight track, (1) no. 24088 feeder track, (11) no. 24172 straight track, (1) pair of 24671 and 24672 curved turnouts, (1) no. 24612 right turnout, (1) no. 24224 curved track, (1) no. 24977 track bumper, a 230 volt / 18 VA Transformer, and a Mobile Station. The locomotive features a digital decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, Telex couplers for remote-controlled switching, triple headlights which change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The acceleration and braking delay can be controlled digitally with the 6021 Control Unit or with Mrklin Systems. The freight cars have Relex couplers and the total train length is: 29-3/4″. This set comes with an illustrated instruction book with many tips and ideas and it can be expanded with the C Track extension sets and entire C Track program. The 74490 electric turnout mechanism can be installed in the turnouts as well.
