Lionel 6-39253 O Gauge 6464 Archive Boxcars (Set of 3) – Model Train Junction: Quality Parts and Art Supplies

Here is a Lionel 6-39253 O Gauge 6464 Archive Boxcars (Set of 3). In the 1950s Lionel made prototypes of these cars to possibly add to the 6464 Boxcar series, but they were never put into production. This is the second set in the 3rd Archive series. The set includes 39254 6464-725 Detroit & Mackinac Boxcar, 39255 6464-000 Norfolk & Southern Boxcar, 39256 6464-000 Louisville & Nashville Boxcar. These cars features sliding doors, die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.
