Atlas 49673 N Scale CNJ SD35 Diesel Locomotive #2506 – Model Train Junction: Quality Parts and Art Supplies

Atlas’ newest N scale locomotive is modeled after GE’s B23-7 diesel engine with 2250 horsepower and a distinctive carbody. Identified by its wide radiator and power assembly access doors that are just forward of the step in the hood, the B23-7 was built starting in 1977 and is still in service today. The B23-7 model will have the same reliable, high performance mechanism and incredible details of all Atlas N scale locomotives, plus the latest in DCC technology. This new model will be offered in two variations: one with a factory-installed Lenz decoder and the other with a PC board designed for easy conversion to DCC.
