Here is an American Flyer 350 Vintage S B&O The Royal Blue 4-6-2 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive w/Tender. This locomotive and tender feature tinplate metal construction with a motor, metal side rods, operating headlamp, plastic and metal wheels, metal axles, and a link coupler. The tender also features tinplate trucks with journals.

Introduced in its prototype form in the late 19th century, the 4-6-2 would take the world by storm at the turn of the 20th century, being seen as one of the biggest innovation in the history of locomotives — the 4-6-2 would quickly finds its place in rail-yards across the world. Heralded for its ability to haul passengers, the 4-6-2 was a versatile model hauling freight and coal as well, with tank variants being introduced later during the 20th century. Traveling at speeds upwards of 100mph the 4-6-2 was featured on rail-ways ranging from Argentina to Egypt, and all the way to the far East in China!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The locomotive and tender have been re-painted. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. Both items show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
